About this event:
During the Belle époque, Absinthe was the popular drink in bars, cafés and cabarets. It was the beverage of choice for poets, authors and artists like Degas, Van Gogh, Manet, Toulouse Lautrec, Baudelaire, Verlaine, Zola, Hemingway and many more. “L’heure verte” gets its name from Absinthe which was nicknamed the green fairy after its distinctive green color.
We invite you to get a taste of the green fairy (and other French aperitifs,) along with selected French dishes, at The Raymond Restaurant bar on April 8th, starting at 5pm, and every first Sunday of each month thereafter.
Relax in a cozy atmosphere…drink, eat, mingle… you never know who you might run into!
